Australian Internships, ICQA offers a pathway to internship for you
at Australian companies and organizations in a wide range of business
fields, where you will have an invaluable work experience for your future
career.
- Age
of Applicants – 18 – 30 years old
- English
Language Requirement
– IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent in ICQA’s IELTS Preparation Course)
+ face-to-face or telephone interview
- Qualification
– Minimum one year study at university or vocational college in
the field relevant to internship.

Internship
a. This is a paid internship program. The average monthly gross salary
for interns training 20 hours per
week is about $1,300.00. This wage may vary depending on host organizations
and interns’ training hours.
b. All interns who opt for the hospitality internship program must
complete the online RSA course prior
to the commencement of their internship in Australia. The course can
be completed online within 4 hours
and the course fee is $110.00. Our Internship Program Supervisors
advise students on this to make sure all candidates meet requirements.
- Internship
Duration
1. Professional Internship – 6 to 24 weeks. The length of the
program is subject to the applicant’s visa.
2. Hospitality Internship – 26, 38 or 52 weeks
- Cambridge
Certificate of Work Experience (non-exam based) can be issued
on the completion of the
internship (subject to the assessment of the examination board of Cambridge
International Examination on the internship log submitted by interns.
Separate fees apply to provide independent assessment of each intern’s
language skills in the workplace and to prove that his or her language
and professional skills are proficient
enough to successfully complete the internship.
- Credit
for University Studies – For those students who are required
to have internship experience to
graduate from their university, this internship program may give such
academic credit to them. If this is
the case, students are required to provide us with a letter from their
university explaining the main internship
features required for such academic credit such as the length and field
of the internship, duties to be
performed by the students during internship, etc.
